A hanging chair offers a more upright and supportive seating option, perfect for reading or enjoying a drink. A porch swing provides a traditional and cozy seating option for multiple people to relax and enjoy the outdoors together. Each option has its own unique benefits, so the best choice depends on individual needs and preferences. **

American houses with porches are not commonly built in Germany because of differences in architectural styles and cultural preferences. German houses often have smaller, more private outdoor spaces such as balconies or terraces, rather than large, open porches. Additionally, the climate in Germany may not be as conducive to spending time outdoors on a porch for much of the year, as it can be in many parts of the United States. Finally, building practices and regulations in Germany may also play a role in the types of houses that are commonly constructed. **
